Kendriya Vidyalaya N.F.L is situated at the National Highway, G.T Karnal Road in lush green and salubrious surrounding inside the township of N.F.L, comprising 10.2 acres of land. Its spacious Play Grounds, well maintained fields for football, Volley Ball, Hockey, Handball and the court for badminton and T.T add to its grandeur and the excellence

About Library

The one place which is considered as of utmost importance in shaping the future of mankind in its formative stage is the school library. It is here that one inculcates the habit of reading and acquiring knowledge through one’s own efforts.
There is a big Library in our Vidyalaya which is well furnished. Nearly, fifty students can sit to read books here at a time. There are 6837 books in PF and 2628 books in SF. There are 25 cupboards in the Library which are full of books. 25 different magazines and four different newspapers (both Hindi & English) and employment News are provided for the students of the Vidyalaya.

About Biology Lab

Our Biology Lab came into being in 1985. It is a large, spacious, well lighted and well ventilated lab situated on the ground floor. The working space is 8m* 10 m approx. There is one store room, one teacher’s room and one dark room attached to the lab. The lab is well equipped with specimens, microscopes, O.H.P, film slide projector, glass ware, chemicals, stains etc. It is used by the students of classes IX to XII. Worthy commissioner Sh. R.L.Jamuda visited the Vidyalaya on 23.2.2006. He was impressed on seeing the equipments, displayed material, project work etc.

About Chemistry Lab

It started working in 1985. It is situated on the first floor. It is large, spacious, well lighted, well equipped and well ventilated. Working space area is 10*8 Sq. Mtrs approx. One Teacher’s Room, one Store Room and one Balance Room attached to the Lab. It possesses suitable number of apparatus for Class IX to XII. Electric Oven & Water Distillation Plant available, 25 numbers of students can be accommodated in the Lab for working/ performing experiments. Department Library is also available. Suitable numbers of Charts being used as teaching aids are available in the lab. Proper records of practical/projects done by each student are maintained each & every year.

About Physics Lab

Our Physics Lab came into existence in 1985. It is large, spacious, well lighted and well ventilated. The working apace area is 8m * 10m approx. One teacher’s room, one store room and one dark room is there in the lab. It possesses suitable number of apparatus for class IX to XII. The lab is well equipped with OHP, traveling microscope, models & charts etc. 25 numbers of students can be accommodated in the lab for working/ performing experiments. Requires electrical points are also available. Various models/ Charts and pictures of famous scientists are displayed for the students.

About Computer Lab

During the session 2001-2002, Computer Education has been imparted to the students of Class XI & XII as an elective subject of their respective classes by the Trained Professional Teachers. We have two Computer Labs in our Vidyalaya. There are 18 computers in Computer Lab for the use of students. 10 more computers are likely to be added to the present number of computers. Our Computer Lab is very spacious & it can accommodate up to 35 students.
