a.      The classroom displays are according to the level of the class, subject relevant, House Distribution List, Timetable, Quotations etc.

b.     Class library is fully functional .Books are according to students level and liking .Children note down the name of the book and author in their diaries. The class teacher gets the set exchanged after 3-4 months.

c.     Since we have single section in Primary, every month Rs. 1000 is granted from VV utilization in making activity & learning and for other purposes for children.

d.     The Senior Most PRT supervises the classes every month goes through the note books and Teachers Diaries. She plays, pivotal role in the smooth functioning of Primary Section.

e.      At K.V. NFL PNP We are following the latest Evaluation System . All the PRT's have gone through the Evaluation tools and noted the changes in grades. The Blue Print was consulted before setting the paper for July Test.

f.       In Primary Section the Academic Climate is of great Excellence, All the teachers are well versed  in the subjects .They have congenial  relationship with each other. A healthy atmosphere prevails here.

g.     Teaching/Learning Aids are being fully utilized by the teachers .Also they keep on improvising them according to their activity and lesson.

h.     Time - table have been prepared as per the instructions issued by KVS . There is a provision of block periods and double Teachers in Primary.

i.        Senior most PRT gives emphasis to regular and proper correction work. Follow up work is given and H.W note books are maintained.

j.        Co-curricular activities are held as per the CCA Calendar prepared by CCA I/e, activities/competitions are held on Saturdays. Children are guided and trained by our experienced staff.

k.     An orientation Programme was held for the parents of children of Class I to acquaint them with the Vidyalaya norms and culture. 90% parents attended the Orientation Programme. Every term a PTM is held to discuss the performance of students. Interaction with parents is held through students Diary also.

l.        A Separate photocopier is available for Primary section, which enables every PRT to prepare and use worksheets at their convenience.

m.   Spoken English periods are being utilized to improve the communicative skills of our children. Spoken English teacher has been appointed on contractual basis for the same.

n.     Computer education is being imparted to standard from class III to V. Two computer periods have been included in the time table. For teachers there are two computers in primary resource room. Teachers have a free access to internet and computer lab.

o.     Material is being collected for news letter , which will be dispatched to KV Zirakpur in September 09.

p.     Project works are regularly given to children relevant to their lessons and subjects . which are evaluated and then displaced.

q.     Excursions have been planned to the places of student interest like visit to science panorama, kurukshetra,local Bal Bhavan, Kale Amb etc.
