Annual Report : 2009-2010
In order to promote healthy growth of the child and ensure
all round development of his personality, it is necessary to provide an
environment that makes the child mentally alert, physically fit and emotionally
sound. In an attempt to achieve these avowed goals KVS has prescribed in its
syllabus, scholastic and non scholastic activities that tend to make the child
a balance personality that our education system needs. Hence, academic,
physical, literary and cultural activities are an integral part of the school
curriculum.
About the vidyalaya
KV NFL panipat came into being in the year 1980.As a unit of
KVS New Delhi, an autonomous body under the ministry of Human Resource and Development,
Government of India.
KVs all over the country and abroad have to fulfill a very
vital need-the need to educate the children of the country- mainly the
transferable central government employee who keeps going on frequent transfer
from one place to another. We feel proud that this unit of Students-teacher’s
community has the opportunity to play a very in the service of the country.
In it is a co-educational institute. This KV with its
brilliant records enjoys its own place in the family of all KVs of the country.
It’s imparting education right from standard l to Xll in
science-medical/non-medical and commerce streams at senior secondary level.
Academic
It is a matter of pride and great pleasure that our students
faired well in home exams. In primary sections the results was 100%, in class
VI -94.6%, VII-91.4%, VIII -98.3%, IX-98.7%, XI (sci.) -80% XI (comm.)-92.3%.
In 2008-09 the overall result of class X –was 98.6% and of class XII was
90.8%.
Km.Divya jhamb scored 100 marks in maths and master vikas
nehra scored 97 marks in biology in class XII in2008-09.
Km. sarvesh master vikas and km. divya scored above 90% in
aggregate .This year in 2009-10 the result is awaited.
CCE scheme was introduced by CBSE in class IX which will
continue in class X in 2010-11 under the scheme, there is continues and
comprehensive evolution throughout the year. Assessment is done not only
scholastic subject but also in co- scholastic fields like behavior of students
and thinking skills, social and emotional scheme etc.
Sports
Under the able guidance of PET Mrs. M.sharma a very
experienced teacher, children are trained throughout the year in various games
and sports activities. Our students have participated this year in cluster, regional
and national games organized by KVs and other agencies. Regional sports meet
was organized from 30 sept. To 3 oct.2009. Our school
was the venue for regional badminton and throw ball games for girls in which
128 participants from different KVs of Chandigarh region took part.
15 students were selected for national sports meet 7 for
hockey, 3 for volley ball,2 for badminton and one for table tennis and 3 for
throw ball. Our vidyalaya won gold in volley ball, silver in hockey bronze in
badminton.
Km.Anjali of XI and Km.Manjesh of IX were selected for SGFI
meet.
Our vidyalaya KV NFL panipat is venue for all India SGFI
under 19 boys and girls coaching camp for hockey from 19 to 23 May to
participate at Moti lal Nehru school of sports rai.
Adventure and excursions
A trip of 135 students to kurukshetra was organized on
On March, 2010 a community lunch of 138 students was arranged
in
CCA
In primary wing activities are organized are as per schedule
at school and also at cluster level. 4 students of class I to V won first
position in Hindi recitation prizes were bagged also in rangoli, mental maths
and spelling round. This KV has awailed the opportunity to organize these
activities at cluster level.
Fancy dress competition was organized on children’s day and
stall of eatables were put up. Grandparent’s day was also celebrated.
In secondary section also cultural programmed were organized
at different occasions with zeal and thrill. Special cultural items were
prepared and presented to celebrate important days like independent day and the
republic day. Inter house competitions
are organized on Saturdays.
Van mahotsav, ozone day and fire safety week also organized
in collaboration with NFL experts talks were arranged to enhance performance of
students and also to instill values.
Scout
guide
The provision for scouting /guiding/
provdes ample scope for the students to render service to the vidyalaya in
particular and society in general. In our vidyalaya groups of cubs and bulbuls are run under
able guidance of trained teachers.
Cubs and bulbul utsav was held at
K.V Bhatinda cantt. Where 29 vidyalayas participated. Sakshi saini at class V bagged 2nd
position in hindi caleography and Parnav saini of calss 4th
bagged 2nd position in English calligraphy. Smt
S.Khanna was honoured for
her work at the utsav.
6 scout and 6 guides attended the petrol leader testing camp
at KV jutogh(shimla)
10.7.09 to 12.7.09.Our vidyalaya was the venue of tritya
sopan testing camp of district II of Chandigarh Region
from 21st to 23rd Aug 2009. 173
students from 20 KVs attempting the camp.
Km. Sonam of class XI was selected
for rastrapati Puraskar
Camp.
Library facility
The school is having a beautiful computersied
library with around around 11000 books covering every
field of sciences, Maths, Literature and Humanities.
Library is very well maintained having all the reading facilties for the students from classes I to XII.
From Class I to V class library system is implemented
.From VI to XII students come directly to the library. They take books, write
book reviews and read newspaper , magazines and comptitions books also.Near abour 7 newspaper and 30 periodicals and other materials
comes in the library.
Much emphasis is given to promote suggestive and ethical aspects
of reading.
Other Achievements
Mr. J .prasad PGT (economics) of
this vidyalaya was selected as resource person at all
Twenty eight students of class X and 49 students of class XII
appeared at maths and science Olympiad. Ma Deepak rathee of class X obtained merit in maths
Olympiad with high ranking.
Smt. D.Kapoor, Sh.jagdish
Prasad , sh.P.L. Meena, Smt. Nandini Gautam, Sh I.P. singh , Smt . Bharti yadav,
Smt .S.D. Saini, Smt .J.chaudhary , Sh.Meghnath gave 100% result in
board classes in 2008-09
.
Training programming
KVS each year conduct workshops , in service courses and training programmers , to
keep the teachers well informed in educational pursuits.This
year all around 23teachers attended workshop on CMP , orientation program ,
short duration in service courses.
On 2nd and 3rd June seminar was oraganized enlighten the staff members on national
curriculum frame work 2005.
Before closing my address I would like to express a very deep sense of sorrow
over the sad ultimately and shocking departure of Mr.S.P
Sharma now Ex TGT (Sanskrit) of KV NFL panipat on 14 feb. 2010. He was thorough gentlemen and a very good teacher.His death has created a gap. May
his soul rest in peace.
Further , I would like to submit that
vidyalaya is having a very cordial relation with the present management and is
getting all possible co-operation and co-ordination. I am heartly great full
chairman sir for being kind enough to spare some time for us. We are fortunate
to have a very dynamic and inspiring personality like you sir. I also extend my
gratitude to Sh.R.S Arora
who is always ready to help in vidyalaya affairs.

Presence of our Deputy Comissionar
is a great source of inspiration of us .We thank you sir sparing time out of

We are thankful to one and all for then help and co-operation
we have got directly or indirectly.

and office staff for there fullest co-operation and dedicated work.
